We can't wear this! Style Truth for Inverted Triangle Body Shape

Truth Is...

The  easiest and  most sought-after body shape among women is the lady is rocking her hourglass figure.  hey can wear a wider variety of styles.  No matter how much weight they gain, they  can look neat, balanced and curvy.

There are some of you like me who were not born with this type of figure.  For me, as an Africa-American Woman, this has been a lifelong challenge trying to style and care for my Inverted body.  According to research, Statistics show that only 8% of women in the world  belong to our body type. Regrettably, the Inverted Body type which is famous for Broad Shoulders (or Big Bust), Wide Backs,
Things That We Can't Wear! They be the latest style but they may not flatter our frame. I give you an example of one celebrity is most definitely an inverted beauty, Actress comedian Sherri Shepherd.

We can't wear round neck's! It draws to much attention to our breast, back, and wide shoulders!

This style blouse draws the eyes away from the shoulders and creates a more balanced look taking some attention away from her shoulders and back.

Overcoming My Strugle with my Negative Body Image

 Dear Friend,
Growing up as a Black American woman without an ass was HELL.  As far back as I can remember I felt self-conscious about my body.   Taunted and teased (to the point of tears) by men, boys, family, friends and especially other (older) black women for being ass-less did not help!  Even my white teachers commented on how small my rear end was...There was no escaping this.  To make things worse, I also had broad shoulders to match.  My clothes did not fit me the way a woman’s clothes should fit.  Bottom line, I Hated My Body.  For years I struggled with poor, extremely poor, body image and wore clothes that did not complement my athletic frame.  At 46, I feel free to laugh at, embrace and celebrate my narrow ass...

PS. Special shout out to the fashion stylists who have finally decided to help woman like myself feel comfortable in our clothing and the men in our lives who know how to make us feel special.
